Fast growing consumer products company is looking to hire a strong Controller to join their team. The company is based in the West Hollywood area and the position has the opportunity to work hybrid work schedule. The company has been experiencing exponential growth since inception and this is a newly created position due to that growth.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Controller will be involved in strategic decisions for the company and engaging work including:

  • Financial Statement Preparation, Month end close , journal entries, reconciliations

  • Forecasting and budgeting

  • Sales and Use tax filings

  • Monthly variance analysis, actual vs. budget

  • Staffing, training, mentoring and managing a small accounting team

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • 3-5 years accounting experience, in consumer products/manufacturing industry

  • Strong Excel skills - formulas, pivot tables, v look-ups

  • Large systems experience - Netsuite highly preferred
